For the first time ever BYU hosted the College Game Day show. We had so much fun. It was better than the football game.

Ghosts and Goblins

October is here! We finally decorated for Halloween and in the spirit of things decided to play a little "glow in the dark" hide and seek. We had so much fun running around in the dark. I think we looked pretty awesome too! Jason and I had glow sticks on our head and Madden asked if we were NEPHI.... he cracks me up. After we had some fun taking pictures... some are a little Scary so beware...

BYU vs. Florida Sate

Jason and I got season tickets to the BYU games this year. We are splitting them with Grandma and Papa. We went to the first game against Florida State. Unfortunately, they got their butts spanked, but it was fun to be there. Cooper was very good considering it was hotter than anticipated...

Kickoff! Back when there was still hope...

BYU vs. Sooners

After a great morning at a baby blessing/baptism with my family we came home and got geared up for the game... BYU vs. Oklahoma. The boys were so excited (all of them)!
Madden was so into watching to game that he forgot to look at the camera.
Cooper excited to watch his first BYU football game.

New Milestones

"When the diapers are gone, they are GONE!" We finally ran out of diapers for Madden. That meant it was time to potty train. He was really excited when he used the last diaper. He has done great! We are so proud of him accomplishing such a huge milestone in his little life.
We recently went shopping Park City... this is how we kept Madden entertained! Gotta LOVE ipods!
Cooper started smiling... I love him!

Football is in the air

Jason and I look forward to football season every year but this year we get to take Madden. We are so excited for him to go to his first football game. The other night we went to the Cougar Kickoff. We loved it and will go again next year for sure. Madden got to meet Cosmo, see the players and they had a ton of great deals. We also got to visit with grandma for a min and go to dinner with my cousin. It was a lot to do in 3 hours but well worth it. Madden got the 2009 football poster to hang in his room, and here it is... GO COUGARS!

Madden meeting Cosmo for the first time. I think he was expecting a cartoon version of him (maybe he has watched Jason play a little too much college football on xbox). He was looking for him all over and Cosmo was standing 2 feet in front of him... it was hilarious! When he finally saw him he was a little shocked. He is usually way freaked out by people in costumes like that but we got him to wave at him and sit still for a picture.
I have been walking in the mornings with the boys. Thanks to my fabulous double stroller! This last week we have gone to the high school to walk around. Madden gets to play in the field during the walk. He runs up and down the field practicing his football moves... this is his hut hut hike pose...
Madden showing off his QB skills...
Madden getting tackled...
Last week we went to Provo and took Grandma out. We went up the canyon to Granny's and got a shake. On our way back we stopped at the lake, Bridal Veil and the river. Then we drove by the temple, mtc and the stadium. Luckily they were doing some work inside the stadium and we got to sneak in and see the field. Madden was so excited to see it in real life (not the xbox version). Then we stopped at the BYU practice to check out the players this year. Here is Madden at practice (the QBs are behind him)...

Layton High 10 year reunion

Saturday was Jason's 10 year high school reunion. He had to help plan it (that's what you get when you are an overachiever in high school). There was a great turn out. We spent the afternoon at the park and then went to Weber State for a nice dinner. No more planning for at least another 5 years... what a relief!

A little flashback... Jason tackling some poor kid (he is #36... if you didn't already know)

Cooper's Blessing

Jason blessed Cooper on Aug. 2nd. He did a great job. We had a ton of family come; it was great to see all of them! We really appreciate everyone coming. Sorry to those of you that didn't make it to the blessing due to the "deer incident." We are so glad you are all okay!!! Here is the crew outside the chapel...

Cooper in his blessing outfit. He was so good for the first few shots and then...He wasn't. I love the crying faces he makes!
Cooper had a little incident in his outfit before we got family pics. So we all got ready and enjoyed it all over again. Here is our cute family!
My adorable boys...
Cute brothers! Madden loves Cooper so much!
